The Global Fund: Partnering with National Governments to Fight Fake Medicines

The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Tanzania’s Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of Nigeria (EFCC). The Global Fund and these national offices have agreed to share intelligence in order to facilitate the investigation of networks suspected of manufacturing and distributing fake medicines. Lesotho Nurses Association Joins in Awareness Raising about FakeMedicines

Lesotho has conducted its first official forum to discuss the threat of fake medicines and other fake health products to the country.
