Burkina Faso ratifies Medicrime Convention

Another step in the fight against fake medicines has been taken as Burkina Faso ratified the Medicrime Convention on July 27, 2017. The West African country becomes the 10th state to ratify the convention against counterfeiting of medicines and devices. There are another 17 signatory countries to the convention. IPSF World Congress in Taiwan

World Hepatitis Day 2017

On July 28th, Fight the Fakes raises awareness around World Hepatitis Day.  According to WHO 2015 World Hepatitis report, 325 million people worldwide are living with chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) or hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection, altogether responsible for 95% of all hepatitis mortality.
