UNGA 2018: Concrete examples of fighting fake medicines in Africa

The fight against substandard and falsified medical products in Africa was brought to the highest levels last Wednesday, 26 September, at an UN General Assembly High-Level side event in New York. Deaths caused by falsified medicines containing dangerous and illegal substances are on an alarming rise in the United States.
