Fight the Fakes happily welcomes EMVO as its 37th partner

Fight The Fakes |

Fight the Fakes is proud that the European Medicines Verification Organisation (EMVO) will become its 37th partner. EMVO is dedicated to create a European Medicines Verification System in accordance with the upcoming European Union Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD) making them a great addition to our efforts to speak up against fake medicines.

Faced with dealing with the FMD requirements the stakeholders along the pharmaceutical supply chain united to ensure that the legal instrument to secure supply chain was done. The founding members of EMVO are the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA), Pharmaceutical Group of the European Union (PGEU), Fight the Fakes partner the European Healthcare Distribution Association (GIRP), Medicines for Europe and the European Association of Euro-Pharmaceutical Companies (EAEPC).

Fight the Fakes and its partners are happy to welcome EMVO to the campaign and are looking forward to collaborating to reduce threat of falsified medicines to patient safety.
