The Fight the Fakes Alliance is pleased to announce its two newest Goodwill Ambassadors, Dr. Chantelle Bailey and Razi Miliani. Together, our two new Ambassadors share a commitment to protecting patients, strengthening health systems, and fighting falsified medicines. Learn more about them below!
Dr. Chantelle Bailey currently serves as the Programme Manager for the Caribbean Regulatory System (CRS). She brings with her over 15 years of comprehensive national and international expertise in regulatory affairs, medication safety e.g., post-market surveillance, quality management systems & audits, and applied health services/systems research. Dr. Bailey has been awarded scholarships and postdoctoral fellowships from organizations such as the Canadian Institutes for Health Research (CIHR) and MITACS Elevate.
“My work is driven by the principle of Leaving No One Behind, recognizing that substandard and falsified (SF) products affect disadvantaged and marginalized populations more significantly, particularly in Small Island Developing States (SIDs)… Active and effective detection, monitoring and surveillance of SF and unregistered products is required to address these gaps and to strengthen legitimate supply chains not only for medicines, but all health products.”

Razi Miliani is the CEO of COGEPHA, Tunisia’s largest pharmaceutical distribution Company, Vice President of the Tunisian syndicate for pharmaceutical distribution, and Vice President of African pharmaceutical distribution association (APDA). He has over 18 years of experience in healthcare logistics, governance, and digital transformation. In these roles, he has witnessed first-hand the devastating impact of substandard and falsified medical products on patients and health systems.
On joining Fight the Fakes, Razi says “I am eager to contribute my expertise, networks, and resources to support the Alliance in its mission, while also helping to amplify its voice across Africa and the global health community. I strongly believe that collective action and cross-border collaboration are the keys to eliminating falsified medicines and ensuring safe and equitable healthcare for all.”
The Fight the Fakes Alliance Goodwill Ambassadors are individuals who play a significant role in advancing the organization’s mission and goals thanks to their position, experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm.
