The Fight the Fakes Alliance is delighted to have Wilson Chandomba, CSCL – Founder and Managing Consultant CMCOMMS Supply Chain Quality Assurance, as a Fight the Fakes Alliance Goodwill Ambassador. A certified health and humanitarian supply chain leader and advocate for end-to-end supply chain integrity, Wilson brings a wealth of experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance and logistics across Africa and is strongly committed to strengthening supply chains to stop fake medicines:
“Everyone has the right to safe, effective, and quality medicines — including people in the most remote and hard-to-reach areas. Fighting SFMPs means building supply chains with adequate controls, because where controls fail, lives are put at risk.”

Wilson Chandomba, CSCL is an award-winning Health and Humanitarian Supply Chain Expert, GSDP (Good Storage and Distribution Practices) Specialist, and a Certified Supply Chain Leader (CSCL) with more than 26 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance and logistics across Africa. He is the Founder and Managing Consultant of CMCOMMS Supply Chain Quality Assurance and the Southern Africa Regional Lead for the International Association of Public Health Logisticians (IAPHL).
In July 2025, Wilson was appointed to the Africa Continental Technical Working Group on Substandard and Falsified Medical Products (SFMPs) and as Chairperson of its Communications Sub-Group, amplifying his role in shaping continental policy and advocacy. His leadership was further recognized when he received the Outstanding Achievement Award in Humanitarian & Health Supply Chain Management at the 2025 Africa Supply Chain Excellence Awards (ASCEA), for pioneering the use of GSDP as an affordable and accessible safeguard against SFMPs.
Wilson has trained over 2,000 professionals—from regulators and logisticians to customs officers, freight forwarders, and frontline health workers—through the CMCOMMS Medical Logistics Practitioner Programme, accredited by the Pharmacists Council of Zimbabwe (PCZ), International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), The CPD Group UK, and recognized by the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe (MCAZ – WHO GBT ML3 regulatory authority).
As a true end-to-end supply chain expert, Wilson advocates for the comprehensive design, documentation, and correct implementation of GSDP across the entire supply chain — especially in transit. GSDP is about adequate control of every activity in the chain. As long as SFMPs persist, controls are not yet adequate — and more still needs to be done.
The Fight the Fakes Alliance Goodwill Ambassadors are individuals who play a significant role in advancing the organization’s mission and goals thanks to their position, experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm.
