Today begins the 2014 National High School Model United Nations (NHSMUN) conference in New York City. NHSMUN represents 40 years of engaging students from all over the world in high level debate, teaching them first-hand about the United Nations and international diplomacy.
This years’ ‘United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime’ (UNODC) student committee will debate the issue of fraudulent medicines as one of their topics.
Fight the Fakes is very excited to see young people involved in the discussion about this growing threat to public health. This is of particular importance, as a PwC report recently discovered younger consumers to be the most concerned about the safety and quality of their medications.
