The Council of Europe’s European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines (EDQM) has launched a database to collate incidents of drug counterfeiting across Europe. Titled, Know-X, the database aims to improve cross-border collaboration in the fight against fake medicines and shall also record the types of pharmaceutical products that are being counterfeited.
