Antibiotics rank among world’s most counterfeited medicines

Bloomberg news reported yesterday that fake antibiotics are among the world’s most common fake medicines, and that this is feeding into the prevalence of global antimicrobial drug resistance. US FDA Gives Tips on Spotting Fake Medicines

This week, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued its first guidance under Title II of the Drug Quality and Security Act, the “Drug Supply Chain Security Act”.
