Drug counterfeiting has increased significantly in Latin America in recent years. This new Latin America perception study by Sanofi was conducted in December 2016 and is based on the responses of over 7,000 individuals from Argentina, Brazil, Guatemala, Ecuador, Peru, Mexico and Colombia. There are more than 35,000 online pharmacies at any given time, but only 1,400 of those sites are safe and legal. This means you can’t trust 96% of them!
