We are proud to announce Medicines for Europe (formerly European Generics Association) as a Partner of the Fight the Fakes campaign!

Medicines for Europe represents the generic, biosimilar and value added medicines industries across Europe. Its vision is to provide sustainable access to high quality medicines, based on 5 important pillars: patients, quality, value, sustainability and partnership. By joining Fight the Fakes, Medicines for Europe acknowledges the magnitude of the problem related to the existence of fake medicines and stands ready to contribute to the work of the campaign in educating and informing the public.

Adrian van den Hoven, Medicines for Europe Director General highlighted that “Fake medicines are illegal and dangerous. Their spread are a global challenge affecting in particular patients in low- and middle-income countries. Fight the Fakes represents a great opportunity for a multi-stakeholder and multi-disciplinary collaboration”.
