This month our partner the International Pharmaceutical Students Federation (IPSF) launches its annual magazine, Public Health SPOT, chronicling the fantastic public health initiatives of pharmacy students around the world, with contributions from global partners.

See article from Fight the Fakes on page 92: “Counterfeiters make it their business, make it yours too!”, sharing why each and every one of us has a role to play in the fight against fake medicines.

Also be sure to check out an article on page 90 by Elena Popa, Vice-President of Internal Affairs, at FASFR (IPSFRomania), on how her organization is working to raise awareness of the threat of fake medicines in Romania and beyond.

Elena captures how important the fight against fake medicines is to her and her peers, noting: :  “It is absolutely necessary as future professionals in the field of pharmacy to know as much as possible about counterfeits and to warn our patients regarding the risks of using them.”
