The Dutch Malaria Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that develops and tests innovative ways to combat malaria. We also make existing knowledge and information about fighting malaria available to stakeholders all over the world. We restrict ourselves to those activities not taken up by others.
Through modern technology, knowledge and experience it is possible to combat malaria. Malaria has been eliminated in Europe, the USA and other developed parts of the world. Africa and Asia are hit hardest by malaria. Every year more than 1 million people die because of malaria. The Dutch Malaria Foundation aims to control malaria worldwide in order to structurally improve health, reduce poverty and stimulate economic development.
